..... to the seagull on the train who suggested drinking in the Cider Press before the game.

..... to the Cider Press for allowing us to eat a Jasperiser burger in the bar after the game.

..... to Jaspers for serving the biggest takeaway food ever. The Jasperiser is a a quarter pound cheese burger with a quarter pud bacon burger on top! £3.60 with proper bacon and proper mustard. And they do a "half-yard" baguette, no measly foot-longs!

..... to the cab drivers of Plymouth, especially for turning off the commentary on the way back to the Cider Press. I think that is the third time I have left early in nearly 30 years of watching the Albion but the first time I have been in the pub when the final whistle went.

Ah memories, memories. Captain Jaspers was always the fast food of choice after beer down the Barbican. Do they still do the half yard hot dog for a fiver? That used to be quality.

As for the Cider Press, one of the best pubs in Plymouth. At least there were some highlights to your visit. :p

If you were the chap on the Virgin train in the morning, then my pleasure.

You should have come to the Thistle, which was the pub we did after the Cider Press. It was the only place we found all day that had local beer on.

I have a hangover from hell today. Everything after Salisbury is a tad hazy.

I think the half-yard bacon baguette was less than a fiver, not sure about the hot dog.
