Almost since the day RDZ and his team arrived, he has rekindled Mrs Earle's love of the Albion. Last season, she had really lost her Albion mojo and was cross with me for renewing her season ticket without checking with her. She found it a struggle to get motivated to come with me to home matches as we have done for decades. Then RDZ arrived with his sparkling personality and his support team and turned Potter's dour marvels in to a thrilling, attractive to watch, free scoring goal machine. Now Mrs Earle can't wait for every match and devours everything she can find about the Albion online, Twitter, news outlets and everywhere she can find it. Anyone else experiencing this exciting uplift in interest for themselves or their family and friends?

Not quite the same, but I was listening to 5Live on the dog walk earlier this morning and they played back a bit of Graham Potter's press conference and I was reminded how bloody dull they are. As a result, when he was at the Albion, I never paid any attention to them as he'd just trot out the same old cliches every time.

Now, don't get me wrong - this isn't revisionism. I loved the Graham Potter era and evolution of Albion and I'd rather have a boring but effective coach/manager than an exciting but shit one. After all, Premier League points aren't handed out for having a vibrant press conference delivery.

But life with RDZ just have a bit more pizzazz to it AND he's getting results on the pitch.

Love that guy.

Agreed. It was the same old twaddle week after week, once you’d heard one of his press conferences you’d heard them all.

You already get a bit of character with RDZ despite his (ever improving) limitations with the language. I wonder if the players were as bored of GP’s voice as I was?

edit: just had a look at GP’s presser, did he always have those massive bags under his eyes and his hair looks like it’s thinning? He must be under a lot of stress.

Do we need a 'who has a crush on the Albion manager?' thread!?

We can put Mrs Super Steve Earle down as a yes. :)

Perhaps we need an adaption of the Steve Sidwell song for Roberto?

I bloody love De Zerbi

He seems real. Potter always seemed a bit false. And Chris Hughton practical.

The atmosphere he has created is a little like the early days of Poyet, when it felt very cool to be an Albion fan.
We now have pizzazz again😃

And De Zerbi has out Poyeted early Poyet for me, Jim.

Is Robbie our most pizzazztastic ever manager?

Myself and the kids have always been season ticket holders much to the chagrin of my wife, however this season it’s become a real full family day. Her half season tickets starts tomorrow as well as all the games individually, we even got her a shirt with RDZ 1 on. The love is real from all points of the spectrum. What a guy.

I just love the endless superlatives and the fact everyone who finds out I'm a Brighton fan wants to tell me how great they are. It's as if my Dad had saved loads of kids from a burning building and they want to show me their appreciation. (He hasn't by the way, mostly smoked fags as his prime achievement of the last few decades).
My mate Bob, the scouser, who has spent 30 years watching football on TV with me, gently encouraging my support of the Albion, while his lot won European cups, FA cups and the league, now says 'stop f***ing going on about Brighton' when I see him.
