It's going to be interesting. The first season at The Amex with potentially no one on the waiting list. Can a price hike be justified if we are already paying one of the highest ST prices in The Championship? I don't think so.

Well, the club is making money, we have an amazing stadium and we are holding our own inthe league. There is nothing to whinge about so you turn to Barber and attack him for getting shot of some dancing girls. Fair enough if you object to that but it all smacks of mole hill/mountain conversion to me.

The phrase "Make or Break" comes to mind there. If we're promoted, then fine I can see why prices will go up, but if we don't then ST prices shouldn't change. Bringing in dynamic pricing would be a good step too.

But this is too sensible so probably won't happen.

All those rich fans commuting from Manchester or Moscow for live games while people in Moulescombe work hard all week to afford their sky package for highlights hours later Glorious scenes! Couldn't have put it better myself. Let's face it some posters are not happy if they are campaigning/moaning about something. They MISS the bad old days. There were some fans who didn't go to one away game last year but they went to Plymouth.

I went on the old marches/quizzes/meat ups etc for Falmer. I have no need to campaign for anything else at the moment. I am enjoying the football and the Amex experience.


Standing? I voted in favour for the North ( I sit in the West) it's not going to happen at the moment. Not fazed.

Gully's Girls? I was still in the bar when they were performing. Hats off to them but it's not going to stop the world spinning (or me going to football).

Selling the most expensive seats first? Well yes, I don't agree with that. Don't think it's fair or right (Before anyone accuses me of being a brown nose). Hopefully it will be easier to get cheaper seats for casuals when the North Stand is finished.

And there was me thinking I was the only one to be AMAZED at the overreaction on some of the other threads. Someone even started a Barber Out online petition FFS!

I'm guessing whoever came into the role would do exactly the same as Barber has done, probably based on the brief from Tony Bloom. In my eyes, he is doing plenty of things to move the club onto the next level.

With the amount of moans on here when we don't win and sit x points outside the play-offs, it is difficult to know what people actually want from the football club. Assuming that they want Premier League football and the best players possible, how on earth do they expect to get it other than by increasing revenues?

like it or not the OP is right. The gap from top to bottom is widening and there is less and less time to bridge the gap before the top flight becomes unreachable for any club that is not financially equipped to compete.

We can stay where we are and maybe yo yo between the championship and league 1 but having built the amex and new training facilities the fickleness of fans starved of success will bankrupt the club in fairly short time. Our bridges were burned when we left withdean. We have to compete at the top of this league and strive for promotion or we will become financially unsustainable. It is already too late to do snything but compete for the top.

For those wanting to revert to standing and fan power I'm afraid Crawley msy be your best option. Sorry but you probably cant have it both ways. Football at the top is about revenues and brands and as soon as we committed £100m to the club's future that is where we were going like it or not
