When it comes to having complete bellend twats as fans, we are up with the best of them for the small minded, snide and f***ing unnecessary comments we manage to produce at times.

I hope you cunties who abuse them get the same from your employers.

they were both here during some of the best times that this club has had so the abuse is very uncalled for. Not to be forgotten that White stepped in after Adams went and brought in players who played an important role in our survival last season.

They have worked hard for the club and done their best. Credit and due thanks for that without doubt to them. But the time is right for wholesale change and unfortunately, there have to be casualties.

They had their highs & lows & have been good servants to the club so we should all wish them well. They were great when the squad done well & people on here have short memories. Thanks for the good times, just a shame about the bad.

Good luck to you both.

Fine servants of the club. If people are going to blame them in part for the bad times, they have to praise them for their parts in the good times, surely?

Yep, Albion servants and woven into our history - so I'm proud of them (Slade as well).

If it's time for a change then that's how it is, no hard feelings and good luck too all.

Those lads have the same open road as does the team and the club, so here's hoping all do well and prosper. There's no guarantee that BHA will do better than ex-employees, or vice versa - but that's business, that's the breaks.

Both good, honest men I'm sure - but just maybe they belonged in a different Albion era.

I really think this time we need a clean sweep.

Many thanks anyway Bob and Dean

Sadly none of them have any "form" in their roles and no one else has wanted to employ them.

Aside from 20 years' service between them as coaching and management staff.

Not strictly true, apparently.

And I am talking bigger professional footballing set-ups than ours here.

You really don't have any class, do you? Two people have just lost their job after years of service and you come onto this thread (which is to say thank you for their loyal service) and make this remark. You are a very sad, bitter woman.

Good luck for the future Bob and Dean. We have had some good times while you have been at the club.

No I just know them for the tossers THEY ARE

How many managers have been sacked but that White always stays in a job - because he has always had his head so far up Knights arse - still good for Mr Bloom new chairman new results - two twats gone

They gave a big part of their lives to this club and I appreciate everything they did for us, they were just the unfortunate scapegoats on this site for some, most of whom when questioned as to why they should be discarded didn't have proper reasons. :tosser:

It is most certainly time for a change in the coaching/tactics/training aspect of the club. Therefore it is time for Dean and Bob to move on.

However I feel they don't deserve a lot of the shit that gets written about them as they have both served the club well over the years.

Doubtless not a popular consideration for many, but I think some of the bile served up for these two, together with the disproportionate, inappropriate celebrations for their dismissal are unwarranted. They did a lot of their work in the background and behind the scenes and as a result of this were pilloried for it.

Perhaps it may be prudent for them to move on to pastures new, but I feel their efforts warranted none of the insults and abuse that came their way (aside from the Freddie Mercury bit, I suppose), and indeed I feel were under-appreciated members of the set-up.

However, I would like to express my appreciation for their hard work, integrity and service to the club. Good luck to them both in their future endeavours.

Great post TLO!

By all accounts these guys worked very hard and really gave a shit about us. What their merits may or may not have been may be another matter but they surely tried their best (and got stuck in when in caretaker charge) so I wish them well.

As backroom all-rounder types they would have been ok but for the coaching roles we needed to be recruiting a strong and specialist 'up-and-comer', so BB and DW would either be sacked or diverted to new roles. Therefore it was always likely TB would opt for the decision he did...going for a fresh start / clean sweep approach. It's tough for them but seems logical enough a decision.

But I sincerly wish both Dean (who I've met and seems a very nice bloke) and Bob the very best for the future.

It's funny, I think that but with the emphasis reversed. If people are going to insist we praise them for their roles in our past successes (fair enough) then they must also accept they have played a part in our current 'downfall'. They ARE partly to blame (how much I don't know) and they HAVE been a part of the current culture of failure of the last one and a quarter seasons. For me the silver lining behind yet another roll of the managerial dice is that they've gone as well. New broom, clean slate, etc etc and it IS for the best.

Well done, what a proper supporter you are. Presumably you were off watching whatever team you used to support/sport you really prefer during the play-off final and the seafront parades when we won the league?

Err no and what you can't see it how many steps back we have taken since all these changes. Time for a clean sweep and changes all round.
