But a lawyer can go through a thread and say which post were breaking the law or not and whether a prosecution would stick. So are we all waiting for the Police to prosecute or is that the end of it.

I don't know. All I am saying is that a well-informed legal opinion that no offence has been committed isn't the same thing as having the police agreeing that no further action will be pursued.

I have no idea. My Gmail account, where all my NSC emails go, currently has triple digit number of unread items. Unsurprisingly I got a lot of emails yesterday, but work is such that I don't have time to go through them just now.

I don't want any more discussion about yesterday on the board. The events are between me, the police and whoever I choose to confide in. And I'll be quite selective about that.
