Well, if I could choose my way to go……..
Dazzer funnily enough we've debated this over the years, my mate was a lovely bloke, almost certainly an easy touch, but he fell for this chick hook, line and sinker, from the pictures I saw, if I was taking this Lady 'off the game', I'd want a little bit more quality for my Baht!

But they say love is blind.......

The moon bar at the Banyan tree hotel, open air top floor with Panoramic views. Drinks at the Mandarin Oriental on the river terrace, free hotel boat from the sky train, a little bit of calm in the madness and cooler by the river

I've got an office in Bangkok so I'm there 4 or 5 Tims a year. Can't say I love the place tbh, especially the sleazier side of things. But each to their own I guess.
There is a very good speakeasy culture amongst the bars though. I recommend:
  1. Iron Fairies (they always have fairly good live music)
  2. Iron Balls Gin distillery / Bar
  3. Rabbit hole
  4. J Barowski
If you must go check-out the 'night-life' with the other half then stick to Soi Cowboy for a drink. You can sit outside at a bar and people watch and it's far less of an assault on the senses than places like Nana Plaza!
