I don't know, the big news I heard today was about the next Archbishop of Banterbury, sorry I mean Canterbury...

f***ing Archbishop of Banterbury. Jesus wept. If I'd spoken to the bloke who'd said it to my mate, I would have knocked him clean out!!!!

No way - it's genius. I never fails to make me laugh when I see it or read it. I think it is the uneasy juxtaposition of religion and chavs that does it for me. I mean, Banterbury :clap2::clap::D:lol::bowdown::laugh:

Brought a baguette from tesco's at holmbush around 18 months ago took it home and made my lunch for work the next day. At work proceeded to eat it and found it to be a bit chewy and thought it was string, spat it out into my hand and it was a blue plaster. Went back to Tesco's complained to the manager who sent the offending item of to their lab for checks.Around 2-weeks later Received a letter with 25 squid compo that also advised that they had lost the item in transit how appropiate ... have never brought another Baguette from them since

Does anyone remember the lasagne sandwich in Tesco a while back?

Nicer than it sounds.

As it happens, yes I do ... was apprehensive about trying them but went for it after they were reduced to about 75p ... f**kin loved them ... had one everyday thereafter (or at least everyday until they stopped selling them at my local Metro store)

Couple of other random flavours that year that didn't work for me !!!

The whole point about blue plasters in food prep areas are that they are visible when they fall off and if they do get into the product they set off an alarm when passing through a metal detector at the end of the production line when being packaged or just before they're stacked into a box. Quality Assessment goes out the window with eastern Europeans working 12 hour shifts and in "zombie mode".
