You're a bit behind the times, aren't you? Firstly, that resigning comment was yesterday, secondly, this isn't about "the press building a case against Capello". They have their new focus now, and are building a case against JT and to a lesser extent Rooney.

I don't think so. I saw the interview that these stories are based on. Perhaps you shouldn't believe all you read!! The interview was yesterday as was the talk of Capello resigning. Get a life.

The interview was yesterday, but today's story isn't the interview, it is the fall out of the interview including the supposed showdown late last night Terry claimed was going to happen, which, by all accounts hasn't.

I take a healthy dose of cynicism with any news media (hence providing several sources), but you really take your paranoia to extremes.

surely 'the john terry clause' is merely 'the darren anderton, spurs clause'.
when they signed big les, da from his sick bed, called in the clause.
apparently alan sugar exploded then walked away from football as soon as possible.

Et Al, being the important part. If it was just the sun I would be a lot more sceptical. But it is not just the sun, is it? What purpose is served by all the papers getting together an lying? Did they use CGI to create the Terry press conference where he said the team meeting and airing of grievance would happen, or is that actually based on truth?

Seriously, I know not everything I read is true, I know not everything is portrayed in an accurate fashion, but that doesn't mean nothing is true, either.
