It was very direct and moving at times. Again allowing them to show moments where he was overcome with his specific illness posterior cortical atrophy, which affects the part of the brian that controls the eye. So when he was in front of the public and could not spell words like Mike, read from his own texts and tie his tie was very strange to watch.

Really odd to see him meet another author/academic 4 years furthur down the road than him, knowing he could suffer from the same symptons.

What was wonderful was employing four old guys to be his greek chorus, who just hung around to answer questions and discuss topics.

I will watch it again as I missed the begining and then see what happens next week. I really admire him for showing warts and all how it is affecting his life.

If you rewatch and are at all squeamish, turn away when he goes to see the Brains donated to the scientists working on a cure, especially when they get near the bacon slicer
