I really have very mixed feelings about this having watched the program and do not think this is right at all.

To me that's the crux of the matter. I tend to agree with 'The Oldman' above in that I don't think the Dignitas way is for me, I think I'd prefer the hospice route as well; not sure I want to spend my last moments in a death factory on an industrial estate. That said I do think it's a legitimate topic for debate and I would like the law changed (somehow) so that relatives who help loved ones to die can do so without risk of prosecution; after all I would say that your 'right to die' and choosing the time is as fundamental a human right as you can get.The UK has signed up to the European Convention on Human Rights [and still operational], so why is isn't a right to die [with dignity and help] if you so choose?
