I know this will be you saying you're 'trying to get a rise' so won't enter into how wrong you were to label someone a racist BEFORE the trial!

SDuprised you're showing your face on here pal! GAME, SET & MATCH SHEEBO :) :)

whatever you think of JT or even of Capello as a manager, this vindicates Capello for wanting to keep his "innocent until proven guilty" captain, and for walking away when the FA pandered to media attention.

Or perhaps the FA neatly killed two birds with one stone ???

No there's not. You are Innocent until proven guilty. If this was in Scotland they would have the option of 'not proven' but its not so we don't. so as guilt has not been proved, he can only be not guilty

Exactly, he walked into the court innocent. He had no need to prove this as this was fact in law as he entered the court. The only thing needing to be proved was his Guilty to the charge. You are only ever proved Guilty in court, or a verdict Not Guilty is delivered and you maintain your innocence in the eyes of the law.

I always like Not Proven as a verdict, it adds a key aspect that the black/white system of Guilty/Not Guilty misses.

Hang on a minute bushy, this can't be right. Your white working class hero has been found not guilty, yet Anton Ferdinand is a BLACK man. I thought everything was weighted in favour of non-white people? ???

The very fact it even reached a courtroom proves my point.

If was for the prosecution to prove his guilty beyond reasonable doubt not for him (or any other person) to prove their innocence

Don't try to manipulate me - I didn't bite to anything on this thread. I'm reminding you, on a thread about the Euros, you called Terry a racist - yes or no?!

(It was a f***ing 140 MPH ACE that won me the game / set and match btw (not guilty))

I think this should be added to my post, as it is the point I am trying to make, all be it slightly badly.

Yes, yes it does.

PS Why do you write in that style ? Two different " no's ", I find it as irritating as you did theat i leave a space between " and a letter.

This case going to court proves that people of non-white backgrounds are treated favourably by courts and the establishment? Are you for real!?

Right verdict in the circumstances. I don't believe JT is a racist and the 'facts' were inconclusive. What is clear to everyone is that both JT and Ferdinand behaved like complete tossers, but that's nothing new for either of them (or for many others like them in the game both professional and amateur). We can hope for people to behave better when in the public eye but it's never going to happen, especially in the heat of sporting contest.

As a result of this various players have taken sides with Terry or Ferdinand and don't want anything to do with the other lot. The whole thing is a mess.

Shut it Honky.

I parked in a disabled bay the other night outside Morrisons at 8.50 working on the assumption that it was unlikely that 15 disabled people would suddenly turn up 10 minutes before closing. I,ve not felt good about it since though.
