Spectacular input from all concerned!

Love those South American dudes - sensible points made with a sense of humour and self deprecating approach. Gus is refreshingly honest and genuinely seems to want to be here and even mentions 3,5 or 10 years.

For the non-itunes people: You don't need to have itunes to listen to this - you can listen to it online.

These two are brilliant. Very very reassuring and extremely engaging.

Listened to it on the way to work this morning - really good stuff. Makes me feel optimistic about the Albions's future.

Feel listening to the podcast before was a waste of time - Dickinson & Tunnicliffe!

Its free to all.

Just listened to it mooching round Asda at lunchtime. Great stuff.

I learned a few bits too;

1. Gus' 14 year old son, DIEGO is a soccerist, at Charlton. Gus would not want to bring him here, as it would be 'too difficult'.

2. Calderon is the fittest [beep tests] in the squad. This is quite remarkable, and massive credit to the bloke, given that he's 30-odd, and had not played competitively for six months before coming here. Crofts, less suprisingly was next.

3. Gus had a house in Brighton lined up to rent, but had it 'nicked off him' by a player he signed. I'm guessing El Caldo.

Well, enjoyed that.

Agree with all the just praise for it above. Steve always does a great job but this time had some very entertaining and fascinating characters to work with too.

Gus is like that - I always want to hear MORE from him; I think he's a really interesting and intelligent bloke.

I LOVE HIM.

I thought this may have been El Navaro????

Edit* Didn't hear the part about it being a player he signed.

Finally found time to listen to the latest one last night while the missus was out seeing Big Pink. What a top episode, easily the best yet surpassing the other intelligent interviewee (Slade) and the gagfest that was Charlie's.
Gus and Tano were having a right laugh and at the same time gave some wonderful insights into how they go about their busienss which frankly, as I suspected from day 1, is going to be nothing but good news for us going forward.
The jibes about Spurs and Chelsea were hilarious although I doubt any Spurs fans would liek hearing Gius diss them as he did.
How lucky we are to have such a persuasive chairman as TB to have secured these guys - as Gus said all the interest he'd had had prior to us was from the Championship....
