You could just see how shattered the players are. They've put everything into this season, I'm gutted for them that they have nothing to show for it.

Possibly the best half of football I have ever seen from a Brighton side. The intensity and commitment was unrelenting. Sheffield Wed were very very lucky to hang on. We quite simply haven't had the rub when it really mattered. I'm gutted but don't feel too down about it as I don't think the team could have given anymore. It will happen and if it doesn't we will still love them

Not too gutted about tonight, they clearly gave it everything they had, with a bit of luck it could have been different, but it was lost in the first leg! Terrible luck for us, lucky lucky Wednesday

We gave it a real go tonight. Essentially if we keep the squad together and can add an Andre Gray- type of player I fancy we'll go up next year.

On tonights performance credit to all including James Wilson. I have been a big critic of him but tonight he did his best with some good runs and I thought his best performance in a Seagulls shirt
