I saw this... was good watching actually... Huge balls but i did feel he prob would have got something for the filming of the program anyway..

Definitely. I thought that too. But I think that's called hedging isn't it?)

In answer to your original question there are loads of good welcome offers out there. Boylesports have a bet £20 (any stake so you can do 1/500 shot then withdraw your £20 straight back into account) and get a free £40 bet - easy £60 if chelsea win. You've got to be disciplined when opening these accounts though mate...

Times are hard AND you've had a gambling habit in the past which is NOW under control....but you just happen to have £5k knocking around?

PS - A good bet to do with a free bet i think is Chelsea to win FA Cup and Champs Lg in 90 mins - 11/1 - not saying it will happen but good odds and if it's a free bet you have nothing to lose. Alternatively see my betfair thread and use your RISK FREE £25 to back Chelsea tommorow - if they win you'll have approx £87 from your origianl £25 as you get £25 back (fully withdrawable) win or lose - worst case you get the £25 back!

Little fishes taste sweet, why risk it all.

hehe like this

You clearly and evidently are NOT in control of your gambling to even consider this.

If you don't bet, you do NOT LOSE anything, no matter the result. If you bet and lose (which is very likely in a footy final - your "feeling strongly" is completely irrelevant), can you live with that?

There's THREE scenarios here, only ONE of them ends up with you having more money in your pocket.

But hey, put the bet on if you're feeling idiotic enough, no skin off our noses.

Im not going to do it as ive only ever gambled small amounts that i dont mind losing...

Its just the draw of the quick 7k... that could also be a quick 5 k loss...

Even if i won i dont think my girl or parents would not be impressed

Let's say you won. In your head you'd probably think - great! I'll never do that again! But you'd think about it. Think about how easy it was. Maybe even risk another £5k now that you have a bit more cash, and suddenly you're gambling at a whole new level. My advice is don't go there in the first place.

Simples... dont click the thread then??? Was wondering if anyone else ever had the temptation... Plus it is an internet "chat" forum...

Hmmmm I was just pointing out that you were clearly trying to make yourself look like some sort of hero (to whom I don't know) by suggesting that in your current poor fiscal state you are still prepared to lump £5k on a coin toss.

Good luck if you do though............which you won't...............obviously!

Oh and if anyone cares 3 pints of Guinness and a Thai Chicken Noodles.

If I was a betting man, which I am, I'd be willing to bet you won't place that bet.

Defo not trying to be a hero... just was a tempting prospect to make a quick 7k... Coz i feel the odds were good and it will be a chelsea win...

No i prob wont make the bet but it is the first time ive thought about doing a one off bet over a £100....

Then dont be a f***ing idiot , use it sensibly.

You do think your boys are gonna win though?

I wont do it.. After seeing how stupid i look from everyones comments...

I will do a £100 though and spread the bet over a chelsea win.
