That's a little simplistic given that to come to a club, one club must make an offer. With the absence of an offer a loan may be the only option for the player.

Tex is fit again:

Despite the setback, the Portuguese made a stunning recovery to be fit in time to start our opening match of the new season against the Thai All-Stars earlier this month, setting up the opening goal for Lazar Markovic.

He did well again against Felda United on Thursday, as the Reds romped to a 7-0 victory. The youngster was among those to get his name on the scoresheet, finding the net with a perfectly executed 40-yard lob.

“It was a nice goal to score,” he told the Liverpool Echo. “I saw that the goalkeeper wasn’t in a great position and I was pleased to see it go in. The support we have here is beautiful and it’s great to play in front of them.”

Asked about his future and his return from injury, he continued: “I fractured my fibula and damaged two ankle ligaments so it was a tough time. I had surgery and then my summer was spent with the Liverpool physios trying to get back fit as quickly as I possibly could.

“I didn’t have a holiday, I just spent the time getting fit. I knew how important this pre-season period would be and I didn’t want to miss the tour.

I'm not if they are very rare in number and season long. Teixeira would be a useful addition.

I don't think Hughton will stick to a rigid 4-4-2 for every game. I think he will vary it according to the opposition.
I'd love to Teixiera back here for a season, and after that, who knows?

Only turned up in 5 games.

So we'd take Texeirra on loan and the expectation at least from Liverpool is that he would play. I would put OUR player before him, and suggest if he we got him, he would be the one that starts as the reserve. Also, both Harper and Texeirra are currently behind Stephens, Baldock or is used as a wide player March.

Perhaps, yes - but I really don't get the NSC 'love-in' for Tex. When he played well he was indeed excellent, but that happened maybe 5 times all season, and in the main he was too lightweight for the championship and incredibly wasteful. Ironically, I honestly believe he will probably be more suited to the PL, as his mind is sharp and he has the ability.

As I said in my previous post, I don't think we'll play 4-4-2 every game. We get the idea that you don't rate Tex from last season. I do, and I liked him.
