A lot of people think that Maybank was signed by Mullery to help his old club Fulham out as they were in deep financial Doo Doo at the time (how it changes eh ?)

Maybank wasn't really worth what we paid for him but he was not the worst signing we ever made, Peter Sayer came along not long after and he was rubbish and the signing of Mickey (taker) Thomas was an utter disaster. Down the way there have been worse believe me. Jason Peake and that git we got from Holland (okay it's too early to remember his name) were dreadful.
