Techno help - problems viewing BBC websites

:nono: I can't view BBC websites anymore. Any ideas why? They are the only sites which won't load in my browser, no matter which one I try. The browser always times out. It has been getting slower and slower over the last few days but today I have no access.

Does anyone know of any settings I might have on my computer which could affect this? A few weeks ago it happened with www.moonpig.com but it seemed to sort itself out after a few weeks.

Or is it possible that my Argie service provider doesn't want me to view the BBC?!!

It happens with ALL BBC pages. Sport, news, everything. Very annoying.

IE6, IE7, Firefox 1.7, Firefox 2, even Opera.

No other websites are having this trouble!!

Okay, I ran the hitman but it found very little ( I clean up regularly anyway) and the BBC is still slow to static!

Some time ago I seem to recall seeing a website which shows how many terminals a site is routed through before it hits your browser. Maybe this is the problem? Anyone any memories of such a program or website?

If you are using window$, open a dos box and run

tracert www.bbc.co.uk

this will show all of the hops/times between you and the target site
