Barnet (league,Withdean) (fa cup,Goldstone) (league Cup,Amex)

Any that we have also faced in the JPT?

I have Millwall away in the FA Cup and JPT. Both penalties wins, one slightly more exciting than the other

I imagine a fair few of you can put down Man City and Liverpool.

I was wondering the other day if there are any teams we have played in all four divisions plus the F.A cup and league cup? Are there any teams that we've played in all of those plus the checkatrade trophy in it's earlier guise before it allowed the U 21 teams in?

I'm pretty sure we've played Hull, Swansea and cardiff in all four divisions. We've played Hull in the F.A cup too. Don't think we have in the league cup.

We've played fulham in at least the top two divisions, the fourth division, fa cup and checkatrade trophy. Not sure if we have played them in the league cup or the third division.

But my knowledge is incomplete. I know there are people on NSC with far better memory's than mine and with a far more encyclopedic knowledge than me.

Man U was the obvious one for me, thought of that straight away.

Have seen us play Norwich in the League, the FA Cup and the Zenith Data Systems Trophy (lost 5-0, about 5000 there, under 50 from Brighton. Spent most of the second half doing the conga behind some bloke wearing freshly purchased Norwich City knickers on his head).

Tottenham Hotspur is a more recent one.

2005 FA Cup
2014 League Cup.

Bournemouth in the most recent: 2017 & 2019.

Arsenal is a possibility if you attended the league Cup game in 1979 (I didn't)

Seen us lose at Highbury & the Goldstone in the FA Cup

Just Fulham, all 3 at home, all 3 away in the mid 90s.

We scored once in the 6 games (and that was in a penalty shootout)

Awful

Just awful.

I looked to see of there is a team we have played in all four divisions as well as the FA Cup, League Cup, Full Members Cup and Football League Trophy. There isn't.

Albion have only played Plymouth Argyle in the Full Members Cup and Football League Trophy.

There may be a number for whom all bar one applies, I think. Notts County is one- as well as having played them in Division Three (south). Only not played them in the Full Members Cup

Considering our excellent record against Wolves

With played them once in the FA Cup and just once in the League Cup

Losing both 2-3 (both at the Goldstone too 1969 & 1979)

Haywards Heath
Aston Villa.

All defeats - highlight has to be FA Cup 4th round in January 2011. A brave 3-2 defeat when we were in League One.

Still annoyed about the League Cup and the X1 selected last season but Potter has made up for it with a run to the last 16 this year.

I also remember that terrible Friday night when Southern decided to not bother with trains. Did feel for the longer distance based fans.
