Oh well, not a very glorious, uplifting or exciting end to the season, but we live to go again next time round.

Safe with three games left.

How does that compare with previous seasons?

Safe with three games left.

How does that compare with previous seasons?

It is the earliest we have ever been confirmed safe.

1st season - one game to spare
2nd season - 2 games to spare
3rd season - 1 game to spare

Happy days - well done everyone!

2017/18 The table wasn't as neat... https://nortr3nixy.nimpr.uk/show...7-18-Edition&p=8443937&viewfull=1#post8443937 looking at the history books, we played our 36th game that season when we became mathematically safe (victory over man utd). Not sure how many games the others had played.

2018/19 we had played 36 games when we were safe, but 18th and 19th placed teams had played 37: https://nortr3nixy.nimpr.uk/show...atch-2018-19&p=8895776&viewfull=1#post8895776

2019/20 we had played 37 games, but 17th (watford who went down) and 18th (Villa who survived) had played 36. https://nortr3nixy.nimpr.uk/show...9-20-Edition&p=9427815&viewfull=1#post9427815

At the end of my tether
Oh well, not a very glorious, uplifting or exciting end to the season, but we live to go again next time round.

Quite right, we survived, last night due to Fulham’s defeat, despite our poor results. I , for one, do not want to see the Albion bumping along the bottom of the Premiership indefinitely. We have now a team that on their day can match the best. It is just a question of doing that.........regularly...

It's at this point I wish I could find the post(s) that said 34 points would be enough!
