Revell & Jake up front, with Hart at right wing and Reid at right back. Problem is our left side where Mayo does not push up to help out Frutos enough which leaves him a bit isolated at times.

I would play Santos with Butters and drop El Abd - so we nearly agree on something.............

Do you not think that having both Butters and Santos in the backline together would make us very slow. Steele is quite nippy and I am told Ibhere is if selected.

Yes they are both slow but normally in League 1 big central defenders suffice with exception being when we had Zamora who was just too pacey.

I would expect the two younger defenders to be able to cover the pace option.

I must admit to not being over impressed with our defending high balls at set pieces and I feel that Butters is better at positioning to either win the header or stop the attacker havinga clear header. I also feel that El Abd is not far behind Santos in the air but better on the ground.

It seems Orient have the worst defence in the league - so if they are looking to sit back I would be tempted to get a third striker in Robinson on for a midfielder early enough for it to make a difference.

Reasonable option - Hart in midfield / 3rd forward and Fruti crossing with Revell and Robinson main strikers ?

Our biggest problem as I see it, and this is going to lead to many saying we should have kept McGhee, as soon as the ball is punted out of defence with a big clearance from a defender or Kuipers/Henderson it is immediately met by a tall central defender who nods it straight back at us.

In the light of not having a man to win and hold the ball when it is cleared, a la Fletrcher last Tuesday for Bournemouth, we must play simple balls from the back through the midfield to the opponents area and then strike quickly.

We got lucky and scored from a long ball on Tuesday and then just kept doing the same thing - bloody tedious.

Need to get Fruti working the flanks tomorrow.

I would give Hammond a run up-front personally. Would take the midfield pressure off him, and he's good in the air. I think it could be the making of him

Kuipers
Reid, Santos, Lynch, Mayo
Hart, Fraser, Cox, Frutos
Revell, Hammond

Why is everyone put Hendo in their teams, we all know he's not even in the squad for the match.

the idea of Butters and Santos being our CB pairing scares me
