I wanna see that Elder guy, but it will be to much for him. 15 mins at most for him.

LI do you realyy think that we'd sign this kid from the Arse and not play him?

I'd go for a 5 3 2

Henderson

Rents and Hart as 2 wing backs

Newboy
Butts
Lynch as the 3 x CBs

Fraser
El Abd
Hammond

Jake and Revell

Don't let wet spam score - keep em quiet , fans on their backs after an hour, and we nick it late on. Sorted.

I'd swap Rents and Mayo - Rents is probably the best crosser we have. Other than that I agree, maybe someone other than Carpenter on the bench. I also wonder if O'Ceaurill can play right back??

Either that or what Mellow 3 Ward 4 has posted.

Dunno, maybe, it would depend if Wilkins really feels it's too soon or not for him, just a couple of days' training? I would be tempted to give him the JPT game and give Lynch a go on Saturday.

As for a wing-back/back 5 system, not sure Wilkins has ever played that even with the youth, he likes his back 4s. I agree with you though that the idea will be to frustrate West Ham, that's why I've picked essentially 4 ballwinners in midfield and just hope for a moment of magic from the front two or a set piece(the same tactics as two years ago in other words).

Lil' Coach was training Rents and Fraser last night, at the junior seagulls indoor football. Fraser scored a goal against Rents and his squad of seven year olds (ha! take THAT Rents!)
Lil' Coach says Fraser needs a bit more experience and Rents is a good choice for the bench. I trust him.
My five year old picks my stocks and shares too. He's backing Coca-Cola today.....

Good work LI. That's the team i would play too. Surely the Arsenal defender is cover. Why would you through him in tomorrow. I'd like to see El Abd in central defence, but we don't have another decent central midfielder.

One of the Sales managers at work is an Ipswich fan, he told me that when Currie returned from Cov, he was quoted in the local paper as saying that his time at Brighton was great and he would not hesitate to come back.

I could see a swap with him to us and Robinson the other way

Well, we know that can't be true because team spirit was rubbish under McGhee, wasn't it? ;)
