I am concerned about the signing of Tunnicliffe as I cannot see how we are going to accomodate him unless somebody has made enquiries about Virgo or Elphick.

Maybe because we need three decent centre-backs in the SQUAD?

Maybe he is better than both Elphick and virgo?

Kuipers

Whing, Tunnicliffe, Elphick, LB (we will sign one - if not, Virgo)

Dicker

Wright New Midfielder Cox

Forster Davies/Murray

I full expect Slade to sign a keeper, centre midfielder & probably someone to challenge Cox. He'll also get a Left Back on loan for a few months (Butterworth?)

I find it interesting that people are putting Elphick ahead of Virgo when deciding on 4-4-2. I would say Virgo was better at the end of last season. Still don't see the point of this process with 6 weeks to go until the new season. I think by that time we will have a new midfield partner for Dicker, left back, striker and probably a few more.

Who cares if there's a point. It's a football message board & it's refreshing to talk football instead of the death of a dead paedo (allegedly) / pop icon

Livermore? Haven't we got shot of him yet?

And why Whing at LB - he's a right back, and surely we've had enough of playing players out of position. Once RB is sorted (and it is with Whing there), then worry about filling the LB spot until McNulty returns. Cook probably deserves a run, and would benefit from it, or Lynch if he's not sulking too hard about still being here.
