Duffy and Dunk . . . .no. Way . . . Remember last season, we got torn a new one. We need footballers.
Goalie
Webster Dunk Burn
Still undecided on the rest but I'm sure GP will know what to do.
Will need players prepared to battle and attempt to win 40/60 tackles.

I can see the argument for leaving out Propper who will have played a decent amount of international football this week, on this basis that his languid style might be less suited to Burnley's sometimes more rudimentary approach to football.
TiresomeHang on a sec.
You can see the argument for leaving out Propper because when he came on, with Malen, for the Dutch v Germany, they changed the game from Germany leading to The Netherlands romping home 2-4.
Plus the 90 minutes he played on MONDAY in their 0-4 walk in the park at Estonia.
For those reasons, and his footballing style, he can't cut it in a home game against Burnley 6 games into the season.
That kind of nonsense is why we aren't deserving of nice things.
Tiresome
Not nonsense. Have another read. I'm talking about the amount of minutes he's played. I didn't make any reference to his form. Not too many of the Burnley players we're playing will have just had a double header of international football and not too many will have had a trip to Estonia and back.
For what it's worth I'd probably play Davy Saturday, (again, if you get your reading glasses out I said there was an argument not to play him). But on the other hand Mooy is an accomplished player and if he gets a chance in centre mid this season, he'll have every chance of keeping his place.
I'm glad you agree because there isn't an argument, for dropping Davy.
Not a real one anyway, sure there's a BG style argument, but that's because he's a know nothing clown.
Propper's a footballer being asked to play Monday then Saturday.
He's definitely already home and probably at Lancing right now.
Mooy's has enough ability to lace Davy's boots.
He's a decent enough replacement in times of need, but to actively drop Davy for Mooy is utter contemptible madness.
BG picked Propper to start!

As I remember, you were similarly dismissive when I predicted that Locadia might go on loan about a week before he did.
It could be that I’m genuinely clueless about football, or it could be that we have different opinions about the relative merit of players and the best strategy to win, which on a thread where you’re invited to select a team for an upcoming game, I think is ok.
I like Davy, he’s a decent passer, but he’s far from undroppable. Potter may conclude that Mooy offers greater goal threat (deny that) or more bite in the tackle or moves the ball forward quicker. Or maybe not. It might be bad luck for Mooy that he’s had even more travelling to do.
We have 5 very capable central midfielders, (soon Bissouma will be back and we have Alzate coming up the ranks), for two positions. Hughton largely picked the same two whatever the opponents or whatever their form. I’m not seeing in Potter that he will do the same.
Why should Propper be dropped partly because he played across the North Sea in Estonia, last night.
In favour of Mooy who is yet to kick off in his (& Maty's) international game in...
... Kuwait?
