I wouldn't be surprised if Mr Poyet once again changes the formation. One aspect of our play this season is the fact that nobody really knows if we are going to play 4-4-2, 4-4-2 diamond or 3-5-1.

I agree that the back 5 cannot be broken up. They have only conceeded on goal in the last 4 and a half games - it would be madness to dabble with that. Greer will get his chance.

I reckon Sparrow and Kish will come back in. I'd like to see LuaLua start, so I've put him in my line-up, but from what I've heard/ read I think he'll be on the bench - in which case Baz on the left.

------------------Ankergren-------------------

---Calderon----Elphick----El-Abd----Painter----

---Bennett----Kishishev---Sparrow---LuaLua---

----------------Murray---Barnes---------------

Subs:

Brezovan
Greer
Bridcutt
Dicker
Smith
Baz
Sandaza

I cant believe that people are willing to drop murray! Murray ran all afternoon on saturday and had a positive impact on the game. Sandaza has scored one goal it doesn't warrant a starting place!

Rubbish! Murray did alot of running around last two games with nothing of any real value to show for it, anyone can do that. I don't post very often on here but always reading, and i note that Murray is VERY overated on here. I mean people were actually giving him a higher rating than Barnes on Saturday! Yes Murray does have the occasional game where he is excellent, but that has not happened this season yet. Sandaza is well deserving of a start, and his confidence will be sky high after getting the winner on Saturday. Now if you have a striker with high confidence, that came here to score the goals, you have to play him. Evan if he only lasts 60 minutes.

Very simplistic view of what Murray was doing on Saturday and this season in general. Barnes played well and was getting chances but only because Murray was occupying their centre backs to allow Barnes the freedom. Murray has been brilliant this season but without getting the goals.
Personally don't think Sandaza and Barnes would work up top because they both (on limited viewing of Sandaza) do the same thing. They didn't link up in the half hour or so they were on the pitch in the same way Barnes and Murray do

By doing what? Running around? I'm sorry but Chris Holroyd cold do that, any profesional footballer can draw defenders away from their strike partner. That does not mean he played well.

Sandaza and Barnes may not link up well yet, maybe because they have only played less than an hour together?

He was many people's man of the match for at least one of the first three home games.

I have not seen anything from him this season to warrant to rave reviews he gets on here. For some reason many people on here will never admitt to him having a bad game. The views on hear do not reflect the views of most people i sit with at the withdean or away games.

I have not seen anything from him this season.. .

The problem is not with Murray's form. Its more that you are completely football-illiterate, and have no idea what to look for.

In my opinion, like.

Where is that? In the disabled section?
Murray has been quality this season.

I'm not a great fan of Murray but on Saturday his contribution at winning most of the aerial balls was good against some very big blokes. If he gets his timing right, his 'hang' time is excellent and on saturday he won pretty much everything.

His ground work was also good but Barnes was getting all the chances for one reason or another and so GP decided it was Murray to come off primarily because he wanted Fran to have a bash and fortunately it did (eventually) work although his overall play did not match Murray's.

For me, Murray has to be the first name on the team sheet in terms of strikers, he offers us ALOT more than just goals, as well as scoring goals himself of course- even a complete idiot should be able to see that.
