El-Abd is suspended.

For the FA Cup match on Saturday, so is Whing, but he wouldn't of played anyway as Coventry won't let him.

I would play our best team, Robinson, Bowditch. Rest no one. I have this vision of us playing at Wembley this season, it will happen!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Robinson needs resting though otherwise he'll just get exhausted and will get injured. Also I don't think Bowdy will be fit enough to start but will have a place on the bench.

Robinson doesn't need resting. He needs playing, chopping and changing doesn't help players form, especially strikers. Would like to rest Butters but we don't have too many options, unless we put Lynch in there despite poor form or chuck Elphick in at the deep end.

You might be right about Bowditch, we'll see. But I think Robinson has got a lot of confidence from playing and scoring in these cup games.

Do you reckon we can get another season out of Tank, the defence looks pretty solid at the moment, would be good to keep it going for at least another year?

give John a starting chance, give us some good width with Cox as well. Frasor needs a rest, although I loved his effort yesterday, particularly him trying to get the crowd riled up for a corner. He had our best scoring chance too. Bowditch can start too if he's fit, but would rather not risk it. Henderson also HAS to play, he was amazing yesterday.

I thought it was at the millennium stadium this year? I heard the Carling Cup had been booked there so that probably means that the Paint is there too? I may be wrong though.

I wouldn't put Cox in a midfield 3. A forward 3 yes, but not a midfield 3. Too light weight.

this is the team line-up i would like to see...

henderson

whing
hinshelwood
lynch
rents

john
cox
hammond
frutos

revell
robinson

i think bringing lynch into the centre would give him confidence back and allow a break for butters. rents has looked good in the games he has played and experience is good for the lad. i wouldnt even mind seeing cox put in front of the 3 midfielders and behind the front 2 for some part of the game.

I think we should perhaps rest a few players. Such as Butters, give Kuipers a go in goal and try Bowditch up front if he's fit. I would even be tempted to rest Cox and give Alex Frutos a game as I think he needs to prove that he's good enough to be in the team. Plus Cox must be in need of a rest surely?

I did hear somewhere that is might be the first match at the new Wembley !!

I know it isn't exactly a showpiece to open the ground but i was told that they have to run an event at 60-70% capacity to get a full safety certificate before they can have a full sell out crowd.

This might be bullshit, but i know that the Bergkamp testimonial at Arsenal was something like that also

I read the same, and I believe that we should field a strong side as it is our best chance of wining something this season and the money generated would come in handy to fend off possible sales in January.
