dont matter
ALBION (4-4-2): Kuipers (gk) 5, Watson (rb) 5, Mayo (lb) 5, Cullip (cd) 5, Blackwell (cd) 5, Hart (rw) 5, Oatway (cm) 5, Brooker (lw) 5, Carpenter (cm), 5, Zamora (f) 5, Barrett (f) 5. Subs: Keeley, Rogers for Oatway (withdrawn 59), Marney for Barrett (withdrawn 74), Hinshelwood, Rodger for Carpenter (withdrawn 59).

That was the team for the 5-0 surrender,(the ratings are Mr Naylor's) does that look a better team than the one we'll probably put out tomorrow night?

Our main problem at present is the midfield and it is of a similar standard to the one 3 years ago.

Carpenter and Oatway try hard but are not good enough and we have no-one except Hammondto win the ball.

Gonna be a long night in Croydon tomorrow. :nono:

Thw worrying thing if that we have a much stronger squad than the one that beat you on the cold October day.

I think the 5-0 team was actually better...

:(

I reckon the side that got stuffed is better

You would you miserable !!!!

Zamora and Cullip are the only ones I'd been keen to see back.

Our team tomorrow will be better - better keeper, more pace in defence, more class in midfield and up front is the only bit where you look longingly at BZ :)

Head to Head:

Kuipers v Henderson: Kuipers better but Wayne wont let us down
Watson v Reid/Hart: Reid better at Right Back. Hart wont let us down.
Cullip v Butters: Cullip better
Blackwell v Macshane: Super Paul all the way
Mayo vs Mayo/Reid. Status Quo
Brooker v Jarrett: An on form Jarret takes it for me.
Chippy v Chippy
Hammond v Oatway: No contest but Dean needs to get his head right for this one!
Hart vs Carole: Seb easily
Zamora v Knight: Bobby takes it
Robinson or CKR v Barrett: Id take either of our two kids over Barrett the headless chicken,

So that makes it
6-3 in favour of the current side with 2 players the same.

I would also like to see Turi on the bench for this one as he will at least give us an option if we need to mix it up, and hes also cored in one of the big Argie Derbies!!!

Kuipers had a mare as did BZ so 8-1 assuming neither Leon or Henderson have one tomorrow. Now where's that straw

What McGhee needs to do is sign Kevin Phillips on loan for one game.

He's scored 4 for Sunderland against Newcastle, including the winner twice, and the winner for Scumhampton against the pompee shite. Oh and he scored the winner for Villa against Birmingham yesterday.

Yes - I think he could do a job for us. :D

Good call Dan. Can't disagree with most of that.

We're gonna have 'em. ;)

Disagree about brooker - he was class when on form and unlike jarrett can cross

he was class when he could be bothered, the rest of the time he went missing. And he was the one player who was least up for it from memory of three years ago. Didn't he get sent off for the only tackle he made in the game??

our team is much better than last time with the exception of Zamora and Kuipers I'd say. Feel a lot more confident if we had FDM in goal.
