Is the defence such a big problem?

We sold Virgo but he played most of last year up front.
We sold Harding but most of you lot thought he was crap.
If we buy Blaney this will put us with a defence very similar to last years.

So we just need one new (fast) left sided defender.

We started last season with 4 Centre-halves available for the 1st team - Cullip, Guy Butters, Adam Hinshelwood & Adam Virgo.

Right now we only have 1 fit (GB).

Granted Kerry, Dodd & Adam El-Abd can play in the centre, but I think we need an experienced central defender pretty quickly - it'll take a new player several weeks to bed in.

Centre backs at the tail end of last year were Butters and El Abd and RB was Reid. All are still here.

Need a LB and perhaps thats Dodd or a new signing.

At least we 've found out that the new guys are wank and that we can't sell half our defence without replacing them.

Noiw, who can we bring in that's actually any good and DIRT cheap?
