With the crucial game against Palarse now only a week away I think we should now rest a few players to avoid injuries. Bolton are known to be quite solid and Bristol City are scrapping for there lives so I think injury prone players like Buckley, Orlandi, CMS etc should all be rested until the Palace game. We should also not bring back El-Abd yet as he can do a job on Zaha next saturday. Do you agree?

No, I think Buckley is in superb form and should start every game. He is the one player we have who can unlock the opposition defence.

No. There are just as many points on offer in each of these two games, as there are on the 1st.

What? Rest our best players for 2 games with a total of 6 points at stake purely for a derby match that at the end of the day will only get us 3 points. Total rubbish I am afraid. I wan't us to beat Palace but to be honest I would chose to lose to them twice and get in the play offs rather than beat them and stay in mid table.

Agree with all other comments .. 3 points is 3 points .. doesn't matter who you win them from. We need to field our strongest team for every game

Don't agree SP. Play the best team we can to try and beat Bolton and Bristol, if we get injuries then that's life. It'll be great to win at Palace, but I'd prefer 6 points from beating the other two, than 3 points for beating Palace. (Although there is no reason why we can't win all three).

You won't say that if Buckley gets injured against Bolton or Brizzle so I think KLL should play instead.

Why oh why would we do that we need our best team every week. The boys will be buzzing after 6 points from next 2 games and a little trip to Selhurst will be just what the Doctor ordered.

this is utterly ridiculous and just shows our complete obsession with bloody Palace. Surely wins in our next two games are more important than one game against palace whether we win, lose or draw against them.

Our home form has been terrible recently so we need to make changes and we need to win at Palarse at all costs. KLL, Crofty and Dobbie are long overdue a run out and are every bit as good as Buckers, Orlandi and CMS.

a wind-up no?

Or do we just give up on football now and settle for a two game season - one home and one away?

On the face of it Bolton are so far behind in the promotion stakes that you would think they may go all out for a win. Alas, I don't think Dougal Freedman has this personality. They will probably be an extremely hard working side like Palace last season and it will be a very tricky had fought game with the risk of injuries in rotten weather conditions. Eagles will be buzzing around like a wasp.

They will happy with a draw. It would set them in good staid for their easy looking fixture list for them in December where they could pick up a lot of points. Bolton may try and force us to play the long ball, and to counter their game I would not be surprised to see Hammond play in the first match. I think he was signed for these sort of games. Yep, I see two different teams for each of the games and none of featuring Lualua in the starting line-up (after the Ipswich fiasco).

Is Wayne Bridge fit? Probably not, but we will not know until KO.

Absolutely 100% no. Points in the next two games are of exactly the same value as any we take away from the Palace game.

If we get six points it would probably be better to beat Bolton and Palace and lose to City. Paradoxically, I would probably feel happier with five points and not losing.

Isn't the modern game all about squad rotation? I think people need to realise times have changed and get with it! I want us to get 9 points out of the next 9 but think we need our best against the league leaders and think others can do a job against lessor teams like Bolton & Brizzle.

Squad rotation does NOT involve dropping a player whose influence on a game is as massive as Buckley's has been recently. It would be ridiculous. Ludicrous suggestion.
