Just because Elliott Bennett had a good 60 minutes or so at RB against Milton Keynes does not make him a right-back. I don't think McNulty or Murray are ready for first-team returns yet either so both are on the bench.

At least Bennett's 60 minutes showed far more composure and creativity than the other RB replacements have shown in several matches.

Wright HAS to start in the centre after last night's performance or what is the point of trying him there. And didnt we buy him as a centre half??

Jake Wright is naturally a central defender but there's no chance he'll play there on Saturday breaking up the partnership of Elphick and Tunnicliffe (unless one of them gets injured before Sat).

I've been thinking since Bennett's little cameo at right back that 3-5-2 would suit the players that we have available at the moment. It didn't do us any harm under Steve Coppell. You just don't see many teams playing it anymore - particularly since McLaren tried it for England against Croatia (I think) and we got raped in that game!

I agree as well, the 3-5-2 is not bad. Though if it was just Dicker and Crofts in the middle with another player with more freedom (which surely should be Cox if it's anyone) might leave us a bit light in the middle.
