3-5-2 / 3-4-1-2 with March and Bernardo as wingbacks and Bissouma just ahead of Alzate and Propper, given license to push forward. Mac Allister playing off Maupay:

Ryan

Webster - Dunk - Burn

March - Alzate - Bissouma - Propper - Bernardo

Maupay - Mac Allister

Mate, that's pretty much exactly what i'd be doing. Possibly, Ali J on the right and March on the left, Alexis in behind Maupay a bit, but that to me looks like our best team on form

Not sure we've got a team that can win.

Fair enough, we could find a way to concede the match and preserve our goal difference, maybe tell the FA we were all self isolating?

Off your knees Sparkie, we can do this.

And on the tinkering, this is exactly the kind of game we should be tinkering for. We're clear second favourites and we have opponents who play the same style every week. It gives us a good chance of picking a team to counter their (many) strengths.

Personally I thought Wolves were the best team to visit the Amex so far this season

Difficult one this.

I want to drop March & Maupay for missing or stopping easy chances against Palace and get some players who can hit the back of the net more reliably, pace-less players like Murray, Ali-J and Groß but we’ll need pace on the break because we should do to them what they did to us (see Sheff Utd home then away).

So . . . . a compromise.

Schelotto deserves a start after accidently booting the bawl at Zaha and for having spent the whole match nursing a eye infection.

For what it’s worth...

————-—Maty————
-—Webbo—Dunky—Burny—-
Lamps—————————-Berny
—————-Dale——————
——-Solly—Davy—Ally Mac——
————-—Nelly————-

I’d like to think this is what they call each other in shouty macho voices in training. I think Stephens would be Stevo though. Solly clearly hasn’t got a nickname yet despite being one of the longest serving players because he’s too quiet and nice.

I very much like the Burny Berny combo.
“To you, Berny”
“No. Back to you, Burny”
“Back to you, Berny”.
“Back again, Burny”

Sadly this is actually how we play at the moment.

Who cares about the team. We never lose against Wolves in the top flight, so we could play any nine plus Lamptey and Mac Allister and just rely on our cloak of invincibility.

Ryan

Montoya - Dunk - Webster - Burn
Propper - Stephens - Mooy
Jahanbakhsh - Maupay - Trossard

That's the team we will pick, not the one I would or think we should.
