Radio Sussex said that Navarro and El Abd didnt have very good games and Gus said he was disappointed that a number of players didn't perform so would expect a couple of changes at least.

I don't care too much as long as he picks CMS ahead of Vokes (unless he ever plays them together). CMS always looked like a greater threat today than Vokes ever did.

I'd like to see a return for Dunk and Razak but that would mean leaving out El-Abd and Navarro

Discussion down the pub: Who is the Brain Horton/Danny Wilson/Alan Curbishley holding midfielder with intelligence in the squad?

Alan Navarro ? I have still got him down as my favourite player (changed after Gus 's first match at Southampton) and I have not yet changed it to Vicente.

Which current Albion player could be a Manager/Coach in the future? Gordon Greer is captain. Who is captain when Greer is out?

I have just found the following (by accident):
Brighton Hove Albion - Alan Key to Albion Form

Spanish System:

4-2-3-1 Football Formation

Perseus Variation: (Interchangeable 4-3-3 & 4-4-2)

4-3-3.jpg

The problem is if we play Vicente and a winger (Will Buckley) we can only play one up front.

Just had a thought. We are very poor at defending set pieces I wonder if in the absence of Reyes we should play Greer at right back which is where he spends most of his time rather than in the centre of defence and bring in Dunk to play alongside of El Abd. It would mean that we don't have the right back getting forward very much but surely this can be overcome by either Buckley or Noone on the right wing.
