CB Butters

LWB Richards

At HOME.

We should GO for the WIN.

Surely if you had that three at the back Butters would be in the centre as he is hardly liable to get across to cover LB is Richards has pushed up.

Also Robinson as RWB! My god, do you think he would actually tackle anyone?

I didnt specify where in the back three they would all be.

OBVIOUSLY Butters would be central.

Robinson works hard and you would expect him and Richards to play an attacking game, with Thomson sitting deeper and letting the other four midfielders push on.

If it didnt work Martot could swap with Robinson.

Playing ONE midfielder isn't being attacking, it's just being silly.

I quite like Les' team but I'm not sure if Bowditch is suited to the number 10 position, I think Cox is more, but Bowditch wouldn't be as effective in a three man midfield.

Kuipers
Whing Elphick Butters Richards
Bowditch Thompson Rents Cox
Forster Murray

Mayo
McFaul
Hart

Well it wasn't obvious because the way you wrote it it looked like Elphick was the right side, Whing central and Butters left.

Gary Hart works hard but I wouldn't play him CB.

Keep the team that held a clean sheet against flying Tranmere, and give them a chance to show they can get goals too.

They surprised Tranmere - who seem to have been mislead by our apparently lowly position in the table - and another day would at least of nicked a goal and won (Tranmere seem pleased in the event to have come away with a clean sheet).

Forster and Murray have goals in them, maybe not at their best in a mid-field scrap, as last week seems to have been.
