You don't half spout some utter nonsense. He is on a season long loan from Liverpool, they want him playing as much football as possible to get experience. I cannot remember one instance of a side not allowing someone to play in a cup game when on a season long loan, it goes against the reason they've sent the player out on loan for the season in the first place.
