I don't think Gus could justify changing the starting line up for Saturday...

-----------------Brezovan------------------

Calderon------Greer------Dunk------Mattock

----------Bridcutt---------Navarro---------

-------------------Vicente---------LuaLua

--------Barnes----------------------------

----------------Vokes---------------------

The only possible changes I could see would be El-Abd in for Dunk, but seeing as we conceded 3 against Blackpool and none against Derby I think that'd be a bit unfair. Also CMS could replace Vokes, but I hear he just had cramp and he'll be back for Saturday .

The Bench is harder to choose. Obviously Ankergren, CMS and El-Abd (if fit) but we have Noone, Buckley, Razak and Assulin to choose from to fill the last two spaces.

I would probably go for Buckley and Razak although Noone is obviously a like for like replacement for LuaLua.

I dont thibnk Gus thinks like you. I think he looks at the opposing team and picks a side to deal with them. We are away at forest. If I remember rightly its not a wide pitch so not so much space for the wingers... he may also think that he'll want a 'hard' CB to bring Mcleary down to size pdq.

I knwo nothing but may suggest

Brez
Calde
Greer
El Bad
Mattock
Bridders
Navs
Vicente
Buckley (of all the wingers can possibly play more central?) or maybe even Assulin
Barnes
Vokes

subs: The Ghost, Dunk, Vincentelotalotalot, LuaLua, CMS, Razak

Apparently Buckley is a doubt for Saturday with the same virus El-Abd had. I think it would be harsh to drop LuaLua after his MOM performance on Tuesday but he's not great defensively, and if the pitch is narrow as you say then maybe play Assulin switching between RW/CAM... But who knows who Gus will pick!

Agree and also what does he want from it? He always says it's to win but now we're down to the business end of the season he may be looking at it differently. Getting to the play offs will be very much influenced by strategy and his approach to each game and I think we might see surprises in set up, personal and tactics. We don't need to win them all but we can't afford to lose more than 1, perhaps 2. Then again if he still thinks Automatic is an option ......

I never get the team right anyway so not going to try and guess it now

McCleary is a WINGER. Why would a 'hard' CB be in order?

If Poyet changes the best left sided 3 set up in British Football that is Mattock, Vicente & Lua Lua I will be outraged

Having watched forest a few times and speaking to a few forest fans. The opinion is that McCleary isn't the brilliant player 4 goals suggest. Blackstock however, is a class forward in this division. Been out most the season with a broken leg but has been in goalscoring form since being back. He's good in the air, with both feet and not too slow either.
Dunk possibly more rounded defender than El Abd so in my opinion he'd be a better choice.
Gonna be a good game. Forest defense is very slow and strong I think so possibility for wingers with pace. Saw Emnes for Middlesborough cause a few problems when I was there last.

Tricky, I don't know enough about Forest to understand their weaknesses and strengths.....but I'll have a guess anyway:

1. Brezovan
2. Calderon
3. Mattock
4. Bridcutt
5. Dunk
6. Greer
7. Vicente
8. Barnes
9. Vokes
10. Navarro
11. Lualua

Subs: Ankergren, Mackail-Smith, El-Abd, Noone, Buckley/Razak.

Same back 5, AEA as the utility defensive sub. My team would be set up to keep the ball and then unleash CMS later on against the worked defenders.
