Just randomly came across this thread for Gus' first game in charge, amazing change in personnel since then!

Note the customary slagging off of El Abd in post no. 35 - "even Stevie Wonder could do a job!" :facepalm:

What a game that was though, 3-0 to the Albion :)

Hmnnn, it was strange that Coxy had a great game but soon fell foul of Gus. There were rumours that Gus didn't like him going out on the town quite so much, but still a shame that he never managed to quite scramble aboard the Gus Bus before it moved on - with the right attitude in training it would have been interesting to see the kind of player he would develop in to. Don't miss his corners though! :facepalm:

Cox could have flourished under Gus. From what I was told from 'the inside' his departure was not to do with nightlife, etc, but because of his general ATTITUDE. Real shame.
