It sounds like Buckley is still a little way off and Hoskins is a day to day type situation depending on how his injury responds to treatment. I'd rather not rush either back and only play fully fit players.

But what great days they were! At the Albion you knew 1 was the keeper. 2 the right back. 3 the left back. 5 & 6 the centre backs. 4 & 10 central midfielders. 7 on the right wing. 11 on the left and 8 & 9 the strikers. Simple.

I'm awaiting people to contradict this, but this was how it was when I really started to take note in the late 70s.
