Leave me too dream of this team ;-)

Jonjo Shelvey, was thinking and reading about him last night..... would be immense, but as someone who can pass and play with his feet, i reckon he may move up the order at anfield under Rodgers. That said Rodgers, knows we play similar so maybe Liverpool fringe players to Brighton may not be so outlandish, we must have one of the best chances of Championship clubs with our style

tons of love for Calde, was a class above in L1, good but not a class above in NPC. No room for sentiment in the Bloom premiership express

Watching him get skinned by Wrexhams winger was quite disturbing.

Interesting to see only 2 people have included Dicker, and both times on the bench

there are still some generous souls out there...........

Calde is one of my all time favourites in 50 years of watching the Albion just for the sheer exuberance with which he plays but I have to admit he will struggle to make the starting line up on a regular basis.

With who we've signed at this second:

---------------Kuszczak----------------

Calderon---Greer-----El-Abd-------Bruno

---------------Bridcutt-----------------

------Vicente-------------Sparrow-----

-Buckley-------------------------------

-----------CMS--------Barnes----------

Bench: Brez, LuaLua, Noone, JFC, Dunk, Vincelot, Hoskins

I think we'll probably sign a new left back and Calderon will have to fight for his place. However many have been saying Bruno can play at LB, and he's probably better than the other options we have, even out of position, so I reckon he's a safeish bet there if we were to play today.

Also put Hoskins over Adgestein on the bench, just because he's a bit more proven. Think those two might have to duke it out if they both stay.

I definitely think he could do a job on the right wing! He is pacey and scores goals.

I think Gus has a more fluid approach to the team, he seems to embrace football as a squad game and isn't afraid to change the team as he feels necessary depending on form and opponents. As such I don't think there's a team for next season, but a subsection of the squad more likely to start.
Currently:
Keeper
Kuszczak

Defence
Painter/Vincelot
Greer/El Abd/Dunk/Elphick
Bruno/Calderon

Midfield
Bridcutt/Vicente/Dicker/Harley/Sparrow
Buckley/Lualua/Noone/JFC

Attack
CMS/Barnes/Agdestein/Hoskins

Subs - gus doesn't seem averse to dropping someone from the match day squad altogether even if they player the last match, so I don't think the bench will simply be the players not picked from above:
Brez/Casper (always will have a keeper on the bench, and I will be surprised if Kuszczak isn't first choice to play if in form regardless of opponents)
kasim/barker/sampayo/rogers/JFC/Agdestein (will usually have space for promising youth option depending on needs/opponents perhaps as a reward for performances in training/development squad games)
Other spaces taken up by selection of players missing out on the starting line up on a given match.

I reserve the right to amend this with new signings and other changes to the squad (i.e. some of those in the squad options may be bumped down to the bench or out of contention altogether).

Love it but we'd conceed shit loads!! We need a bit more balance to that midfield I think. I'd swap LuaLua for Nick Bailey and we're going up as Champions!
