In the absence of Knockaert, I think we have to start Lualua. He is the only player who can create something out of nothing.
In the absence of Knockaert, I think we will have to start Skalák for crosses from corners. Not that important from open play of there is only Baldock in the middle.
In the absence of Knockaert, I think we have to start Lualua for the free kicks that Wednesday give away. Holla on the bench as he has an unseen reputation for set pieces

I think the Knockaert injury did not seeem so bad as the others, hopefully?

Back four: Bruno, Dunk, Greer, Bong does seem all that bad, now it seems Greer is fit again.

Gawd knows who will play the front role. Not Baldock, I suppose Wilson looks like the only candidate despite his anonymous performance?

Still looking forward to the game. Pressure is all on Wednesday now. We still restricted them to long shots most of the time.

What did he do apart from stand and walk
We are 2 nil down and must score at least twice to have any hope. Last night wasn't his finest hour but he hardly had any decent service and was chasing a lost cause all night. He has got goals in him and now must start on Monday as one of of only two strikers now available. Yet you want him gone?

O'Grady, now that would be a story wouldn't it. Imagine him coming on, playing a blinder and eventually scoring the winning goal at Wembley
And then the match being awarded to the opposition as he's not allowed to play for the albion this season.

Interesting that people are starting to echo my thoughts about Baldock.

Team for Monday;

Stockdale
Bruno
Greer
Dunk
Bong
Rosenior
Kayal
Towell
Skalak
Wilson
Murphy

Real Madrid style 4-3-3 with fluidity, skill and pace. LuaLua off the bench is our wildcard if he fancies it, also Elvis who we KNOW can do damage, he just needs to have a go. Holla is better than people think, he could be a weapon in a 4-3-3 as the holder to free up Kayal and Towell to orchestrate attacking madness.

Options for Hughton, not the first choices but options nonetheless. I believe we'll win the game by a handsome margin.

Baldock is an excellent player if we have 11 men on the pitch and are playing the ball on the ground as he pulls defenders all over the place. If we are going to play hoofball (although to be fair the last 2 games we have not had much choice), then he is surplus to requirements.

We HAVE to go back to playing our passing game. We have plenty of players left capable of ripping their defence to shreds. Let's use them.

Bruno Goldson (if fit) Dunk Rosenior
Skalak Kayal Towell Lua Lua
Baldock Murphy

If we can get the first choice defence back in place, use Murphy's pace up front combined with Skalak's precision crossing and the game of Lua Lua's life then we can do this !
