I think Wieffer has to start. Seriously. His confidence will be shot. If he has a half-decent game, it will help him get over his mistake quickly and will go a small way towards making up for it. It will also show us whether he has a future here.

I think Enciso should also start. Give him some proper game time as he still isn't up to speed this season.

There's the option of Veltman at CB though, he's played there before. He looked very exposed at FB yesterday. I think that JP and Igor will still play there but Fab does have other choices.

Some outdoor players might need to be rested or benched to save legs for Saturday, but don’t see why Steele needs to play. We’re want our best 11, and having a consistent keeper is always a bonus.

Wieffer would also be playing against his manager from last season so should have some good insight into Slot’s tactics.

Personally I would go as strong as we can and then rest some away at Anfield. I don’t think Welbeck can start again so soon but that’s a great opportunity for Ferguson. Veltman might also need a rest but other than that go big. I would definitely want to see Rutter. Mitoma and Baleba starting.
