There’ll be 11 changes but will be stronger than the team against Cardiff.

Scherpen

Lamptey
Tsoungui
Roberts
Burn

Leonard
Alzate

Mwepu
Richards
Moder

Connolly

Be good for the likes of Moran and Ferguson to get on again in the second half.

I'd rather see that team (or something very much like it, just adjussted to neet the competition rules) at Forest Green next Tuesday - it wouldn't need much adjusting either. Not, though for a tough away tie against a Championship team in a competition that I want to see us progress in (I want us to win the EFL Trophy too - that team is good enough to give that a good go, but not for the League Cup).

----------------Steele
------Tsongui Burn Roberts
Lamptey Mwepu Moder Alzate
---------Connolly Richards
------------------Tolaj

I'd also like to see a bit of time for Locadia and MacAllister.
Gross should also be getting some game time if fit

Team selections progressively improving as this thread goes on! Not sire about the front three though - I'd want Mac Allister in there, preferably instead of Connolly, but it's probably more important to get Connolly some game time. Tolaj can wait until Forest Green next Tuesday!

Possibly. I've seen enough of Tolaj finishing in the u23s to want to see some more of that. Agree Connolly needs game time, but more importantly confidence

has he really? hope so!

As above, he has said he will play a part. I may be assuming too much by saying he will start but normally 60 minutes starting is more likely than 30 minutes as a sub in a lesser status game.

Not in Whitechapel
Steele
Tsoungui - Burn - Roberts
Lamptey - Alzate - Moder - Leonard
Richards
Locadia - Connolly

Subs: Ferguson, Moran, Mwepu, Tojal & more

Strong enough team to progress relatively comfortably. Mwepu on for Lamptey as and when needed. Steele in goal as I can’t remember how to spell the new guys name

Really hope Tolaj gets a run out. He’s got a hell of a left foot. Would be fantastic to have someone pushing Connolly from our under 23s.

I hope there’s going to be a stream for it

I reckon we're now back in the business of trying to sell tickets to football matches. Post lockdown, we're much less like a broadcasting organisation and more like a football club. Long may it continue

Living in Scotland it’s not easy to get to mid week games so a stream would be handy

True

But they're having problems shifting tickets for the game anyway. We're it on TV, the problem gets even worse

I'd like to see some more of Tsoungui
Mwepu needs some more minutes
It'd be great to see Lamptey back in the 11.
And im intrigued to see either Tolaj, Ferguson, or Locadia getting some time.
