The biggest conundrum is at LB where we risk an injury to Pervis if we run him into the ground.. I’d be tempted to start Lamptey at LB against Ipswich with Hinshelwood another option if he’s ready.

I don’t expect Dunk to start both of the next two so I’d go with Van Hecke and Webster against Ipswich and bring Dunk on for about 20 mins.

If we have a slender lead with no injuries do not bring Dunk on. Every time Hurzeler has messed subbing central defenders we have thrown away points.

Indeed. It also raises the question of who will play on the right of attack, where we also have an abundance of players in the squad, but not currently available.

I know this won't happen but I thought we looked so much more comfortable playing out from the back - albeit against Championship opposition - with Steele in goal. We've also won all the league games he's played in this season.

Steele is much better than Bart with his feet. Just a shame hes worse with his hands.

I wouldn't disagree with that. RDZ considered that benefit outweighed the negative (and I don't want to open that can of worms again, Sorry) and I kind of get why recently.

I'd start Lamptey tonight but not at RB, if Minteh is injured then I'd play him at RM in front of Velts. One of their main threats is Davis, well he's not much of a threat if he can't get forward, and on the occasion he can then we have 2 x RBs on him.
