Quite a few returning from injuries, but with two away game starts in the space of c66 hours, we will need to rotate the playing personnel, particularly the forwards. We might see Minteh and Rutter for United, but suspect they won't be involved tonight. Hinshelwood might finally be available and Joao Pedro also involved, so:

Bart
Veltman JPvH Dunk Pervis
Baleba Hinshelwood(Ayari)
Gruda Enciso Mitoma
Welbeck
Joao Pedro to come on for Danny after about an hour so we've got one striker on the pitch at all times for both games. Hopefully both can start against United. Hinsh to start in midfield if available. Will need to bring on the likes of Adingra and March too.

I think you're right with most of the above. My only change may be Hinsh as I doubt he's ready to start, so it'll be Ayari into midfield.

Experience wins it for me, so a rest for JPVH, who can come on once either Dunk or Webbo need to come off:

Bart
Velts Webbo Dunk Stupi
Solly (yes) Carlitos Ayari Mito
Wellbz Enciso (for flair)

Bencho: Steele, JPVH, Lamps, Simon, Moder, Gomez, O' Riley, Gruda
Fitness?: Hinsh, JP, Mints, Georgie

Tonight's starting 11 needs to be the fittest players we've got available. Ipswich will try to outrun and outfight us, because if they try to outplay us we'll beat them (as we would 80% of the teams in this league) so we need to have 11 players up to it physically. At least for the first 60-70 mins. Then bring the likes of March and Hinch on whose genuine quality can be the difference.
IMO it was utterly STUPID to leave Baleba on for the full 90 on Saturday, anyone around me would have known this once we went 3-0 up as I was being a bit vocal about it, apologies!!!! I'm going to give FH some slack and assume it was because JPvH & Velts needed to come off, otherwise it was a STUPID decision.

Verbruggen
Veltman JPVH Dunk Estupinan
Gruda Baleba Ayari Mitoma
Welbeck Pedro

Enciso may squeeze in if either Danny or JP are not considered 90 minute worthy. Fitness is basically determining the lineup tonight.

Bart
Lamptey JPVH Webster Estupinan
Baleba Ayari
Gruda O'Riley Mitoma
Welbz
This is assuming Dunk and Giorginio aren't fit enough for 90 minutes and that Julio is on his way out.
Otherwise, Dunk for Webster, Giorginio for Gruda, Enciso for O'Riley

Is there any chance that he will keep Steele in after a clean sheet and a victory?

Not that I advocate it but I am just trying to think where he might spring a surprise.
I don't think so as then we'd be back to the alternating keeper thing we had under RDZ, which for me was his worst coaching trait and left the defence wondering who'd be behind them.

Got to stick with Bart for the season now and then make a decision on him and I think that's what FH will do.

I like the team @Machiavelli proposed and hope Jack Hinshlewood is the surprise.

I know this won't happen but I thought we looked so much more comfortable playing out from the back - albeit against Championship opposition - with Steele in goal. We've also won all the league games he's played in this season.

Bart will obviously be the far better keeper in the future, but given our playing style, Steele is the better keeper now. I understand why RDZ handled it how he did

Solly has said that it will be months before he's playing 90 minutes.
I don't think we'll see him starting for a while yet.

Some very interesting squad selection decisions will need to be made because if Pedro, Minteh and Georginio are all fit, some key players may miss out.

Eyes on those with a rumoured January departure:
Lamptey
Ferguson
Moder
Enciso

Frustrating to have four key players out.

We’ll really miss Julio, Igor, Rutter and Georginio tonight.

Not sure as don’t know who is fit enough but one thing I would like to see, assuming Joao Pedro is not fit enough to start, is Gruda start in the 10 role.

Really impressed by him generally and liked him in the 10 on Saturday - I think that is his natural position.
It was his main one at Mainz!

I guess we have about 5 or 6 who would probably say that's their best position, is the issue with this

The biggest conundrum is at LB where we risk an injury to Pervis if we run him into the ground.. I’d be tempted to start Lamptey at LB against Ipswich with Hinshelwood another option if he’s ready.

I don’t expect Dunk to start both of the next two so I’d go with Van Hecke and Webster against Ipswich and bring Dunk on for about 20 mins.

Pervis needs to start defending, Arsenal I don’t know where he was it definitely wasn’t defending.
