What’s peoples thoughts?

———————- Verbruggen ——————-
Veltman — Dunk —- Van Hecke — Kadioglu
—————- Ayari —— Baleba ——————
Adingra —-——— Pedro ————- Mitoma
—————-——- Welbeck ————————

Probably a little harsh on Hinshelwood but IMO he’s not a right or left back.

Minteh is an exciting option from the bench but Adingra deserves a start.

Be interesting to see who actually makes the bench with Wieffer and Pedro likely to be involved after missing out last week.

Well done Munchkin, that'll do for me.

I may toss a coin for Veltman or Hinshelwood at right back.
And maybe Weiffer for Ayari to allow Baleba to get forward more, but that would be very harsh on Ayari who has done nothing wrong.

Can't disagree with that team. I can see Kadioglu moving to right back when Pervis is up to speed again, but at the moment that's the best available starting eleven. Hinsh hasn't been at his best, and Minteh needs to sit and watch for a bit.

The only thing I might argue with is that Adingra is better on the left and Mitoma has blown hot and cold. I wouldn't be that upset if Mitoma was rested, Adingra was played on the left and Minteh (yes, I know) kept his place on the right. If things weren't working, Mitoma on for Minteh and Adingra switching flanks is then an option.

----------Verbruggen
Veltman Van Hecke Dunk Estipunan
---------Baleba Wieffer
-----Kadioglu Pedro Adingra
-----------Welbeck

Steele / Webster / Hinshelwood / Ayari / Georginio / Mitoma / Minteh / Enciso / Ferguson

No place for Lamptey, Moder or Igor in the squad

Georginio comes in for Pedro if he's not fit. Likewise Hinsh for Wieffer if he's not yet ready to start

Minteh and Mitoma to come on when then game is stretched

I think it's going to be this, but with Adingra on the left rather than Mitoma. It won't hurt Kaoru to make an impact off the bench in a shorter spell rather than starting again. It would be good to see Gruda get some minutes off the bench to replace Minteh so there's a natural option on the right, because Adingra is very much a left winger who for convenience has played a lot on the right.

After listening to Ferdi's post match interview I don't think he's ready to start yet.

Reckon we'll see Pervis start his first PL game of the season. Hoping to see Wieffer start with Baleba but think we're more likely to see Ayari start with Wieffer coming off the bench.

Adingra to start on the right please

I think this is spot on. I'd play Wieffer instead of Ayari though. A bit of extra physicality.

Anderson and Yates are big lads who like to get stuck in.

I'd have Hinsh starting over Ayari any day.

Can't get how a pro footballer on 80k a week can not be fit by mid September. It's unacceptable.

nicked your template Munchkin (I'm a boomer and can't align the names!) - does Rutter play RW? Also, would play Wieffer, cos he's mustard.
Agree Mitoma has to start, and praying Pedro is ok again.

Veltman, Van Hecke, Dunk, Estupinan

Baleba, Joao Pedro, Ayari

Adingra, Welbeck, Mitoma

Normally I'd pick Jack Hinshelwood over a few players in that team but he's playing dangerously many games, its not ideal from a fitness perspective. Ferdi would have had a bit more minutes yesterday if he was warming up to get ready to start games so I don't think he'll be in the lineup, but hopefully could make a longer sub appearance.
