Agree - huge difference, plus Pervis over Cucurella, Ferguson over Maupay and Webster over Duffy (depending on how we set up)

Think the key is our wide players as their fullbacks are very poor ( yes I know Mitchell is rated by most Palace fans, but he always looks like a rabbit in headlights to me). My concern is that we are not very good against teams that park the bus and think Viera is no fool and will pack the midfield and defence and try to hit us on the break. As no Zaha, they will rely on Eze and/or Olise, good flair players but very lazy ( that's my mates verdict) backed up by Palace are top of the lazy league as they don't put the legs in. Heart says win, head says draw, devil says lose.

Is it unusual for managers to commit to playing certain players?
RDZ seems to do it a fair amount.

It seems to be different to the usual ," player is available" comments.
