An appearance next Tuesday would leave Rushworth cup tied, right? Though perhaps it wouldn’t affect his prospects since our other on loan keepers are not featuring in the cups.

They could though - I'm sure if Beadle doesn't play in the cups for Massive, it's because they're using their back-up GK as their cup keeper. Does the Paint Pot Trophy count as being cup-tied anyway?

Obviously will be very wrong - and Saturday will provide more clues. I'd expect it to be way more senior than the side chosen in the EFL Trophy and include most of the weekend's substitutes in the starting XI (perhaps excluding any new signings like Gruda & Rutter). The other tricky thing here is knowing if anyone might miss out due to a pending transfer, which possibly fits most of the potential starters! I'd go for something like Rushworth; Lamptey, Webster, Igor, Estupinian; Baleba; ACD, Ayari, Yalcouye, Adingra; Ferguson. Gilmour, Sarmiento, O'Mahony obviously all possibilities too. With Lamptey, Pervis and Ferguson it obviously depends just how close they are to a return but went with them based on being back in training.

Again, Rutter is cup-tied.

A very strong team, please. This competition, despised as it is by many, is a possible pathway to Europe next season, arguably easier than trying to get 6th. in the league. If, as they should, the senior players have got the game sewn up 3 or 4-0 by the hour, then we can bring on the youngsters to save the first teamers for the next league match.

I'm assuming the following will come in this week / Kadioglu / O'Reilly / Boscagli
I'm assuming the following will leave this week or won't feature due to speculation - Barco / Gilmour / Baleba / Sarmiento / Rushworth / Cozier Duberry / Lamptey / Igor / Moder / Dahoud / Sima
I'm assuming that no injured players such as Verbruggen Pervis or Enciso will make it back

--------------Steele
Veltman Webster Dunk Hinshelwood
-------O'Reilly Milner Ayari
----Gruda -----------Adingra
--------------Pedro

Cahill / Samuels /Van Hecke / Kadioglu / Boscagli / Wieffer / Mitoma / Minteh / O'Mahoney.

Minutes for the big money new players towards the end of the game

You are looking at the team for the Bristol Street Motors Cup which is (a) to Crawley tonight. This is a thread for thoughts on team for the EFL cup which is (h) to Crawley this time next week.

E: I am dumb.
To be fair I've had a mare here

Few changes for me -

Rushworth

Kadioglu - not here yet, so Veltman.
Van Hecke
Webster
Barco - if still here; otherwise Estupinan (if fit); if not, Samuels

Baleba
O'Riley - not here yet, so Wieffer
Adingra - ACD
Gruda

Sarmiento - Ayari

Rutter - not eligible, so Pedro or Enciso

I can categorically state that O'Reilly won't be coming.
