[Albion] Team for City

scooter1

How soon is now?
probably more interesting to guess on City Team. Won the League...two finals to come. their best`ll want pitch time but not too much and steer clear of injuries.
I suspect the City team will resemble something like Sunday against Chelsea, with the big guns getting 20 mins at the end to keep their chops up for the finals.

As for us, I suspect some players will get a rest in preparation for the shit-housing we're going to have to endure at Villa on Sunday.
I'd still like to see more of Gilmour. He hasn't let us down yet and perhaps Offiah at RB to keep Veltman for Sunday

Tough selection. Pick the ones who are emotionally over Sunday already and those without hangovers.

We need to avoid getting tonked. Can we just agree a nice gentle 0-0 with City ?

I don't know what the thing about hangovers is about. I saw they had beers in the dressing room after the last match. Fine.

But i'll be less sanguine if it's a "cost us the championship" style 3 day bender which glaringly affected performance for the last matches of the season.

Fast start, hit them hard, bring on the subs when we’re 4 up at half time.

Don’t think Enciso will play. Subbed off at HT on Sunday and looked in a bit of sulk in the dressing room

Given De Zerbi's statements about still needing one point, and how seriously he took the FA Cup (after chucking away the Carabao), I very much doubt anyone will have been out drinking. I think he'll pick a strong team. The main thing is to avoid a tonking.

I see no reason why we cannot win this. We have more to gain from the game tan City. A draw would be massive but I never settle for that - always want to win. I can see RDZ will need to rotate (during the match) the squad carefully - he's done ok so far so why not again. could be a very tight game or extremely open, sometimes you never know and isn't that what makes it all the more exciting?

All in for the win
  1. Still a chance at finishing 5th
  2. Get a draw here and the Villa game is meaningless
  3. Last home game of the season -- don't diss the fans
  4. Probably last home game ever for Mac and Moises

I’d like to win this as beating the likes of Man City would always be special. It also means we can play the kids against Villa and f*** up Spurs. Win win

Absolutely no idea. I reckon it'll be a fairly strong side though, as it's out last home game.

I do hope he targets the Sunday game for points though. Fifth is still there, and Villa fans are convinced they'll win and Europe is theirs. I'd love it if we battered them just to spite them, and Brentford took 7th instead.
My thoughts exactly. 👍🏽

Is Dunk out with a neck injury? Or is that more internet rubbish on my news feed??

Lewis Dunk - doubt

The skipper has been playing through pain recent and is doubtful with a neck issue
