Is Halford cup tied ?

Otherwise I do not see a reason for him to be dropped.

How does Hughton like to line up? Will see a 4-4-2?

It's the cup so I'm going for...

-------- Dunk -------- Hughes ------
Calde ---------------------- Chicksen
----------- Ince ---- Holla -----------

I think he said he likes a 4-2-3-1 and similar in the conference where he was unveiled. Was saying that his formations suited possession style football.

Wouldn't change a winning team unless you need to out of necessity.

No Bennett so would replace him with O'Grady (with CMS dropping back a bit) but agree with that principle otherwise. We have a bit of momentum and have no game midweek so why not try to carry on the run? The team played really well on Monday and deserve another chance.

We need to put out our strongest side. The Brentford game is five days after Fulham, and a week before Charlton. We've also got players coming back from injury (Greer, Baldock and, possibly, Stephens) and Bruno from suspension, with the likelihood of the squad being enhanced over the next few weeks. I'd use the FA Cup to blood a certain youngster though:

---------------------- Walton -----------------------
Calderon ----- Greer ----- Dunk ----- Bennett, J
------------ Ince -------------- Holla ---------------
March ---------- JFC/Teixiera ----------- Colunga
----------------------- CMS -------------------------

Subs: Stockdale, Halford, Hughes, McCourt, JFC/Teixiera, Baldock, O'Grady

I'd like to see a strong side, with young Walton in goal.

I reckon Hughton may want to reward the Fulham selection - but for me Holla was a weaker link that night and JFC may come back. Baldock is no answer as a striker but can fill a role as a wide player before we get better players in
