Team for Birmingham ?

[The Terminator]

Now we have had time to reflect on last night performances and look at who played well and who didn't etc , what would be your starting 11 when we make the trip north to Birmingham .

Mine is as follows:

Calderon....Greer .... Dunk ... Painter/Vincelot

........... Bridcutt ..... Reyes ..........
...
Buckley ........ Vicente ........ Noone

.................... CMS .....................

i think that Reyes showed that he is more than capable of playing in midfield and i feel he is a bit wasted at right back , Calderon hasn't done much wrong this year and gives us another body going forward . On recent performances Painter doesn't deserve to be dropped but i would feel a lot more confident if Vincelot played there . We struggled to make chances last night but with Buckley, Vicente and Nooney we would create plenty for CMS. Them 3 in attacking midfield would also give us a lot more movement which is something we lacked in the final third last night .

Pretty much what I would do, if Vicente is not fit then Sparrow in his place

Yep that same team for me and I think was Gus has been hoping for for a while now. Hoskins another option if Vicente is not fit

Calderon for sure,gets forward a lot more,last night reyes didnt drift past the half way line 99% of the time,or maybe just following orders.

Exactly the same team for me, playing with two (proper) wingers to support cms get them to whip the ball in from the byline along the floor, CMS will get to most balls 1st. Absolutely no point in crossing high balls in, food and drink for defences when we dont have the height needed to compete with big defences. With Vicente following up, CMS can either take the shot or play it back to him.

I would have Lua Lua on the bench to cover Buckley who may still be short of match fitness and either Sparrow or Harley to cover Vicente.

I would rest Painter for this 1 and play Vincelot. agree with The Terminator.

Same as a few others have suggested, but if Vicente not available, id try Nooney in the centre & Kaz wide left.
