Maybe that saving the LA are making should be pooled and parents that are out of pocket due to the strike can make claims against it.

I think Doug would like the same sort of fine imposed on the Teachers as Parents get when taking their Children out of School.

None of my friends earn that much some ten years after finishing uni. Those are incredible wages. In fact I think they're paid too much, if that's the case.6th year teachers get 32k. Plus the time studying, 10yrs from when it all started it reaches 32k...
No, you're taking an un-authorised day off the schooling of children.
No sympathy here, if you don't like the job change careers. Is there a shortage of teachers and would be applicants, no. Game over.
Chuff me they don't know they're born. I've been working as a scientist for ten years after doing a degree and a masters at top universities and am just getting close to that level! Plenty of graduates are lucky to get £15k.
