Got one of these Tastecards recently that gives you 50% off food at certain restaurants/pubs - thinking lunch in the country today but can anyone comment on the Half Moon in Ditchling ?

Whats food like, Will it be dead on a Thursday afternoon etc

I went there in the summer & it has gone very up market with it's menu but the food was fantastic, hope this helps.

Assume you mean Half Moon Plumpton. Has a top chef now who manages the pub. Has gone up market but you can get a weekday lunch menu Two courses £11 or three for £13. Assume mid week menu is Mon to Thu. Packed at weekends and needs booking. In the week lunchtimes should be ok to roll up.

Fuckin hell! Yankee grill which was a burger, sausage, bacon, chips, onion rings, peas, pork chop and mushrooms, £10! Got the meat sweats
